SCIO — The U.S. Senate passed a bill honoring a local hero by naming a U.S. Postal Service facility as the Cpl. Jason L. Dunham Post Office, at 4422 West Sciota St., in this Allegany County community.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., recently announced passage of the legislative tribute to Dunham, who died in 2004 in Iraq when he was severely wounded after shielding his squad members from a hand grenade blast.
