I visited Pat Tillman's memorial here in San Jose. I believe our nonprofit currently has an unclear policy on "friendly fire" but recommendations to allow it be defined as "killed in action." Originally, his brother in law, Alex Garwood, also exectuve director of the Pat Tillman Foundation, had said he would help us with a memorial monument here in San Jose.
