The USA KIA/DOW Family Foundation (USAKIA) began Your Shield to demonstrate the strength of families with killed in action (KIA) or died of wounds (DOW) from our U.S. Armed Forces. Spartan mothers told sons before battle, "Come back with your shield or on it." We value communication benefiting U.S. KIA families. USA KIA families and other helpful souls began our unique tax-deductible and tax-exempt organization to remember. Every day is Memorial Day for us. "All gave some... Some gave all."
